New Water Fountain in Mayor's Park
Our club was proud to dedicate a new water fountain in Langhorne’s “Mayors Playground” park in September 2018. It was a perfect 94 degree day for thinking about water for kids. This was a community partnership with other businesses…two of which are run by members of our club.

Congratulations to our latest Rotary Scholarship winners
Our 2018 Langhorne Rotary T. Walter Styer scholarship winners include Caitlyn Albarran (Neshaminy High), Danielle LaPierre (Neshaminy High), Owen Sienko (Holy Ghost PS) and Matt Tomlin from BCTHS. Ashley from State Representative Farry's office along with Rotarians Kathy Horwatt and Ward McMasters did the presentation honors.
Two of our 2017 Langhorne Rotary T. Walter Styer scholarship winners were Daniel Mandolesi and Grant Versfeld, former students at Neshaminy High School. State Representative Frank Farry and Rotarian Kathy Horwatt did the presentation honors.

Major Projects: The club sponsors the Langhorne Pet Fair and Family Day as a community wide event. An electronic sign was dedicated in 2013 to serve our community. Non profit organizations can post their activities at no cost.
Interact: The club sponsors the Interact club at Neshaminy High School. The Interact is very involved in service projects and assisting the Langhorne Rotary with its projects. Students are sent to the RYLA leadership program each year.
Humanitarian Aid: We provide financial support to numerous non-profit humanitarian organizations and international projects, as well as providing support to local families or individuals who have experienced tragedies or are crisis situations.
Community Service: Langhorne Rotary takes part in the Clean the Highway program twice a year as well as a Rotary At Work Day project at the Mayor’s playground. Dictionaries are also distributed to 3rd graders in the Neshaminy School District.
Student Recognition: Students are honored as Students of the Month for academic and extracurricular achievements. In June the Walter T. Styer and the Gene Hieber Scholarships are awarded to graduating students who have demonstrated outstanding Service Above Self . The club also supports the Rotary Youth Exchange Program sponsoring students traveling overseas.
International Service: The Rotary club was involved with an international project providing a well for an orphanage in Panama. The members continue to support the Rotary Foundation, the humanitarian arm of Rotary International.
Polio Eradication: Rotary International and the Langhorne Rotary are committed to the cause of eradicating polio from the world. The Rotary Foundation, the tax exempt, humanitarian arm of Rotary, is very close to success, aided by the financial support of the Gates Foundation. The Langhorne Rotary Club also has a Pasta Buffet on Martin Luther King Day in January to support the Rotary Foundation Polio Eradication Initiative.
The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of US$1,000 to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
